Petviaa was built after we lost
our dog, Roxy.
What happened wasn't sudden. It was a series of decisions — things we didn't know to question, things we trusted without verifying, and signs we didn't understand at the time.
We went to a vet believing we were doing the right thing. We followed instructions. We trusted the process. But looking back, there were gaps — no proper diagnostics, no clear explanations, and no way for us to know whether the care we were receiving was actually correct.
"The hardest part is this: nothing felt obviously wrong in the moment."
And that's the problem. Pet owners aren't doctors. We rely on trust. But today, there is no simple way to verify veterinary credentials, understand clinical diagnostics, or maintain immutable health records.
Petviaa exists to change that.
We're starting with something simple: a way to verify veterinarians against official records. Because one small piece of information — knowing whether a vet is valid or not — can change the questions you ask, the decisions you make, and sometimes, the outcome.
"It's something we wish we had when Roxy needed us the most."
IF IT HELPS ONE GUARDIAN AVOID THE SAME LOSS, IT IS ALREADY WORTH IT.
